A seat in the room where the sector decides

The EACMC Conference is where East Africa’s coffee sector thinks, learns, debates and aligns. Delegates join producers, cooperative leaders, exporters, buyers, roasters, financiers, regulators, researchers and development partners for three days of sessions on the questions that decide who gets paid what.

Registering as a delegate gives you the conference programme, the workshops, the closed roundtables and eligibility for structured B2B matchmaking.

What happened in 2025

The inaugural EACMC filled the auditorium at the Visa Oshwal Centre across three days. Delegates worked through production and productivity, quality and processing, traceability and EUDR readiness, finance, price discovery and market access — alongside the exhibition, public cuppings and competitions running on the floor below.

Beyond the main hall, an invitation-only roundtable at the Sankara Nairobi brought a smaller group of delegates, partners, diplomatic missions and institutional leaders around one table. Away from the plenary, that is where several of the frankest conversations of the week happened, and where a number of follow-up relationships began.

What delegates get in 2026

EACMC 2026 keeps the conference at the centre and builds the rest of the platform around it. The programme will address productivity, quality, processing, traceability, compliance, climate resilience, technology, finance, cooperative governance, domestic consumption, women and youth participation, buyer expectations and regional competitiveness.
