EACMC’s coffee quality, recognition and discovery platform identifies, evaluates and showcases distinctive East African coffees, helping quality coffees become more visible, discoverable and connected to buyer interest, cupping sessions, samples, profiles and commercial follow-up.

Regional activities connect origin-level activity to the wider platform, identifying producers, cooperatives, coffees, exhibitors, Coffee Academy applicants, FOEA entries, institutional partners, speakers and stories that feed the October marketplace.
Origin Experiences
Curated visits to coffee origins, farms, factories, estates, cooperatives, mills and institutions deepen understanding of provenance, production, processing, quality and traceability. They are market-development and relationship-building tools, not tourism.

The October 28–30, 2026 Grand Expo and Conference in Nairobi is the flagship physical marketplace of EACMC. It is where conference discussions, exhibition, Coffee Academy, FOEA, Roasters Village, Trade Connect, B2B meetings, buyer engagement, competitions, Origin Experiences, women and youth enterprise, government participation, institutional engagement and media storytelling come together.
